The sessions focused on ensuring that school plans and procurement processes are aligned with Republic Act No. 12009, or the New Government Procurement Act, which promotes transparency, accountability, and efficiency in government procurement. Isleta, in close coordination with school-based GAD coordinators. One of the key initiatives is “𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲,” where teaching and non-teaching personnel wear purple every Wednesday of March as a visible show of support for women’s empowerment and gender equality.
