Teachers from Department of Education Schools Division of Panabo City participated the workshop on lesson planning using the ILAW framework—Intentions, Learning Experiences, Assessment, and Ways Forward—as part of the outputs during the Virtual Orientation on Learning System Reforms.

Guided by their respective school heads, teachers collaboratively developed lesson plans aligned with the proposed three-term school calendar and the department’s learning reform initiatives.

The workshop aimed to strengthen classroom instruction and improve curriculum delivery through structured and learner-centered planning anchored on the ILAW framework. School officials also emphasized collaboration and instructional coherence in preparing for the implementation of the revised learning system policies.

School heads and teachers explained the objectives, schedules, learning activities, and expectations of the remediation program while addressing concerns raised by parents and guardians. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟰,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗼’𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 The Schools Division of Panabo City has officially rolled out its 2026 Summer Remediation Program, mobilizing hundreds of tutors and thousands of learners across various intervention initiatives aimed at strengthening literacy, numeracy, and academic competencies during the summer break. Under the ARAL Reading Program, a total of 3,299 learners from Key Stages 1 to 3 were enrolled, supported by 399 tutors composed of 394 DepEd teachers and five external volunteers. Meanwhile, the ARAL Math Program catered to 1,184 learners across the three key stages, with 114 DepEd tutors facilitating intervention classes. For the Senior High School Remediation Program, 57 learners were enlisted in English remediation, while four DepEd tutors were assigned to handle the sessions. The division also implemented the Summer Academic Remedial Program for learners in Grades 7, 8, 9, and 11, serving a total of 60 learners with the assistance of 23 tutors. The initiative forms part of
