𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 An ordinary school visit turned into an unforgettable moment for Angelo Gabriel Salubre, a young and promising visual artist from Panabo City National High School, when his replica of the iconic painting Spoliarium captured the admiration of Department of Education Undersecretary for Administration Atty. Mel John I. Verzosa during the school’s Pasiuna Art Exhibit, part of the Special Program in the Arts – Arts and Design Grand Recital. Impressed by the young artist’s skill, attention to detail, and passion for the visual arts, Usec. Verzosa made an unexpected gesture—purchasing the artwork on the spot.
